When Sears replaced 116,000 incandescent spotlights with LEDs, it was the largest LED retrofit undertaken in Canada. The retrofit is saving about 20 MWh of electricity annually!
Sears Canada made a commitment to reduce the energy use in our retail operations by 20% over 2007 levels by 2013. We achieved this target and are now working towards an ambitious goal to cut our carbon footprint in half.
