Sears CSR

Our People

Sears Canada has been a part of the Canadian retail landscape for over six decades developing a reputation for trustworthiness. We recognize the value of investing in, and building relationships with, not only our customers, but also our people.

With more than 20,000 Sears associates, we want to continue to be a trusted go-to retailer, serving families across the country.

Our vision is simple: Enrich the lives of Canadians through products, services, community involvement and experiences that help make every day a great day. Whether customers visit our stores, shop online at www.sears.ca, or by phone from Canada’s largest general merchandise catalogue, our associates are committed to providing customers with service that is reliable and instills confidence.

Sears associates display integrity, passion and pride as part of their values, inspiring others within the organization. Our associates are part of the community in Canada and respecting the opinions, ideas and diversity of those with whom we have the privilege of interacting are just a few of the ways we demonstrate leadership.

Our commitment to our people:

  • Provide a healthy working environment to ensure the safety of all our associates;
  • Develop talents through resources and shared learnings;
  • Recognize and celebrate meaningful contributions;
  • Encourage associates to contribute to their communities;
  • Nurture a culture of sustainability among associates.
